Still Shining

I have a hoochie friend at work that is so funny and always up for whatever gets thrown her way. She is so much fun. So... I have to brag.

She is an incredible singer and I mean incredible. I am not just saying this because I know her and I am bias so I want you to hear her yourself. Her name is Xaviera and here is her official website http://www.xaviera.net/home.html.

Now I have her personal blog on my blog lists because this is the side of her I know, but I just have to tell you that she will be famous one day.

So visit the site and click on the music tab and since you are already there and I am telling you the music is great, go ahead and buy the dang CD. It's worth it. I wish you could be at my job when it's someone's birthday and she sings for him or her. Hey Vonnie, my birthday is March 22 babe.

Now for a personal tidbit; another friend of ours (hoochie anitasome) had a birthday last week. So I leave the birthday girl a voicemail and sing birthday wishes in my sexiest voice ending it with “Tell X she has nothing on me” (knowing I can't carry a tune I thought this was pretty funny). Well Anitasome plays the message for the entire department and X challenged me to a sing off. Hey, I am woman enough to say I'm scared. Ummm and yes, we do actually work however we believe in down time.

Unfortunately we can't all be singers.
