I was thinking today just how quick this year has gone by, as with all the years prior.
This was going to be my year. 2006. My year... the year. I had this life list of things I was going to accomplish this year. So I thought perhaps I should give myself a review since 2007 is thisclose.
- I realized that "30-Something" is not so bad. I like me. I don't change my personality to fit the mold of people I interact with.
- It is possible to love someone too much. Especially when you forget yourself in the process. I learned to never be fully dependent on another person as long as I live.
- Life goes by fast. I don't want to miss it.
- I've been to 2 of my dream cities... New York & Chicago. I took a vacation without my family and allowed myself to play.
- I've been in a commercial.
- I saved a life.
- I lost a part of me, but gained the whole of me.
- I've learned how to listen with more compassion to my friends and to be more patient with people ... everyone has bad days, I don't want to be the cause of one.
- I stood up for myself. Twice.
- I survived ACL surgery.
- I've learned what and who true friends are. I am still learning how to be a true friend back.
- I realized I am blessed above and beyond.
I have 2 months left until 2007. Only to 2 months left in the year to add to my list. I want to make the most of every day left and have no regrets.

Good for you! Fill it up to the brim, and do it for yourself and your girls.
Maybe you can give me some advice on knees at some point?
Great list of things! Hey, I was in a commercial too. You might have seen it! Click here!
I was the guy on the ground, sleeping.
