Twas the Night Before Surgery & My Knee Hurts Like Hell

Thought I'd blog a pic of the knee prior to surgery.... (teeth chattering) ummm.... left knee in case you're having difficulty seeing the swollen one.

Okay... I'm able to walk around a little but it hurts! So here we are less than 24-hours away from surgery and I am scared. I just want to hurry up and get through this. Great News! My mother is coming to stay with me for a week (tone = sarcastic). No really, she is wonderful to do this for me. The only problem is she thinks we will be sitting around, scrapbooking, laughing, eating ice-cream, etc. I don't think this is going to be realistic .... not to mention the fact that If I felt like doing anything at all, I would be throwing the ball or conditioning my softball glove.
